40 Acre Conference Minority Code Launch - 40 Acre Conference - Juneteenth Freedom Festival
Join us for the world largest Minority Coding Competition on Juneteenth. This event is sponsored by Code Launch. At this event participants will be brought back from other competitions where they were not successful to pitch their revolutionary software built from the ground up!!! They will compete for over $10,000 in cash and prizes. We will also have a few black and minority companies that have a great idea, but no app designs, prototype or code. We have 6 of the top development firms in the land doing a Hack-a-thon to build their idea into a product in 48 Hours! The development of consulting software and the product these companies will receive is valued at close to $100,000! This is a free ticketed event with give-a-ways and prizes. This event will sell out, so please RSVP as soon as possible! There will also be top investors, VCs, Corporate Venture Partners and Angel investors in the crowd that are looking to fund these ideas. This showcase is located in the former historic Barbara Jordan Post office that has been converted to the 8th wonder of the world. Featuring the world's largest 5.5 acre rooftop skylawn, state of the art music hall, food hall with 27 different restaurants, historic art showcases, interactive space and 3 of the highest rated spots to take pictures in the City of Houston.
