We are delighted to invite you to the Sophomore edition of Afrocentrik “EVA” Awards which will be  held on Sunday 29th October 2023 at the GSH Event center.

Each year, Afrocentrik “EVA” Awards recognizes outstanding personalities, businesses, organizations and Institutions in the African Diaspora community who have demonstrably shown Excellence, Values and Achievements in their callings and service to humanity and community.

Our community anticipates this annual experience to see the deserving individuals who are making great strides and blazing trails by recognitions and awards. Over 50 individuals, businesses, organizations and institutions will be celebrated.

This year, we will be presenting to your community, the “EVA” Honorary Cultural Leadership Award for your outstanding leadership and representation in the African Diaspora.

Also, we will be dedicating a part of the ceremony to pay tribute to Mayor Sylvester Turner as he leaves office and appreciate his timeless friendship and commitment to the African Diaspora community.

Consequently, you will be one of the four distinguished individuals to present a tribute before the Mayor’s “State of Diversity Address” and then, the Presentation of The African Diaspora Certificate of Honor by Her Excellency, Ambassador Hilda Suka-Mafudze, Ambassador of African Union to the USA.

We look forward to the honor of your presence at this auspicious occasion graced by influential personalities and dignitaries who are committed to the African Diaspora community.
