About

Event Address: 3727 East Main Street, College Park, GA 30337, États-Unis

Description:

The GA Haitian American Chamber of Commerce and the Haitian Diaspora is invited to join FCNL for Immigration Letter Writing Day.

FCNL is the Friends Committee on National Legislation, a nonpartisan Quaker organization that lobbies the U.S. Congress for peace, justice, and environmental stewardship. It was founded in 1943 and works to influence legislation through lobbying, relationship building, and grassroots advocacy.

Theme: Brewing Change: WHERE COURAGE IS STIRRED AND EVERY LETTER MOVES JUSTICE FORWARD

Date: Saturday, December 13, 2025
Time: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Location: C’est La Vie Café, 3727 Main St, College Park, GA 30337

Participants will write to Congress on pressing immigration issues, including Refugee Admission Caps, TPS, ICE, economic development, and business funding opportunities. Your expertise would guide attendees in crafting informed, impactful letters and answering any immigration questions they may have. Letter writing has driven meaningful change in states such as Georgia, Texas, and New York, influencing policy and congressional engagement.

We are proud to support a Haitian-owned café, and your participation will help strengthen this community-centered advocacy initiative.
