Description:
The Auburn Avenue Research Library in collaboration with Beautiful Ventures will host Clips & Conversation.
Inspired by the dynamism of the salons of the Harlem Renaissance, Clips & Conversation is an intentional, interactive, intergenerational space where clips from popular culture TV shows, movies, videos etc., are used as conversation starters to foster community conversations about topics of importance -- topics often not discussed in public. It is a relationship-building space across differences that also helps strengthen participants' ability to examine and engage the popular culture narratives addressing various aspects of Black humanity.
