Fish & Friends Fest was created to do more than host a festival. Our mission is to spotlight local restaurants, chefs, food trucks, and culinary entrepreneurs while creating meaningful economic impact through collaboration. The event brings together great food, entertainment, community engagement, and charitable giving under one platform.

As part of our commitment to community impact, Fish & Friends Fest will donate 30% of all festival proceeds to a collective of charitable organizations supporting youth development, community programs, and local outreach initiatives.

How the Competition Works

For Year One, we are inviting 10 restaurants, chefs, and food trucks to compete for the title of “Best Fried Seafood Dish in Atlanta” 

Each participant will have the creative freedom to present their dish however they choose, provided that fried seafood is the featured component of the entry.

Looking Ahead to Year Two  
As Fish & Friends grows, so do the rewards for our restaurant partners.

Beginning in Year Two:  
The competition winner will receive 7% of the 30% charitable contribution pool distributed by Fish & Friends Fest.

An additional 3% will be distributed among participating restaurants and businesses that become members of the Fish & Friends Hub, our collaborative restaurant resource and networking initiative.
