Food Vendors: Must use GNC provided tents to meet City of Chicago compliance requirements.
• Corporate Vendors: If choosing to use a tent, it must be a 10×10 tent.

Vendor Pricing:

Food Vendors (withGNC Tent) - $650

Corporate Vendors (without GNC Tent) - $400

Commercial Vendors (without GNC Tent) - $350

Additional Info:

PLEASE NOTE – the GNC tents include 2 vendor passes, 10x10 tent, table (8x30), and 2 chairs. If no tent is desired vendors receive 2 vendor passes, table (8x30), and 2 chairs. Additional tables are $20 each and chairs are $5 each. Additional vendor passes must be purchased in advance.

GHANA NATIONAL COUNCIL OF METROPOLITAN CHICAGO: GhanaFest Vendor Policies

Set up must be complete by 10 am on 7/25/2026 and removal complete no later than 8 pm on 7/25/2026. Set- up time begins at 6am. 

If Vendor fails to leave site in the same condition as it was at the commencement of the event or to tear down in a timely manner, Vendor shall be liable for all clean- up and other costs incurred.

Location: Washington Park 5600 S. Russell Dr. Chicago, IL.

The Site is subject to final determination by Ghana National Council of Metropolitan Chicago and non - transferable

Vendor shall accept full responsibility for the assigned site and further indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ghana National Council of Metropolitan Chicago, its owners, representatives, and agents from and against any and all damages, claims, or losses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, which arise out of or relate to Vendor’s use of the site and attendance at the event.

Any disputes arising pursuant to this agreement shall be subject to the laws of the state of Illinois and heard by the state or federal court having jurisdiction over Illinois.

Vendor shall follow all rules and regulations of the event.

Ghana National Council of Metropolitan Chicago does not permit gifts, cash, goods or services to be given to anyone involved with the event in exchange for special treatment, favors, or conditions.

All vendor trailers or trucks should exit the event park by 10:00am after setup.

Your Vendor fee will include a limited number of access passes to the Event, as noted above. Other vendor passes must be purchased separately.

No generators are permitted.

All applications are subject to verification of the provided information. Vendor space is limited.

Current Food Handling Course Certificate REQUIRED (No exceptions)

All payment should be made by Tuesday June 30, 2026. Upon acceptance of the application, we shall have an agreement. Thereafter, a confirmation & other information will be provided to you. 

If Vendor requests to cancels the agreement no less than thirty days prior to the event, Vendor shall pay an administrative processing of $100 and be refunded the balance of monies paid. 

All monies shall be due as stated in the sale end dates or the tickets and there shall be no refunds as of Friday, July 4, 2026.  Ghana National Council of Metropolitan Chicago reserves the right to deny access to the event if the applicant fails to provide accurate information and everything requested herein, or for other reasonable cause.

The undersigned represents that the Vendor information above is true and correct, the undersigned is authorized to sign this document, and the Vendor agrees to all of terms and conditions above.
