Golden Symposium 2026

State of Ghanaian America: Visibility to Power

November 7–9, 2026 | Washington, DC

Venue: Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, Washington, DC (November 7–8)

Hosted by: Ghana Diaspora Public Affairs Collective (GHPAC)

Join Ghanaian Americans, diaspora leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals, policymakers, and changemakers from across the United States for the 2026 Golden Symposium, a landmark three-day convening exploring the growing influence, contributions, and future of the Ghanaian American community.

Under the theme “State of Ghanaian America: Visibility to Power,” the symposium moves beyond celebrating diaspora achievements to examining how Ghanaian Americans can transform their growing visibility into meaningful economic, civic, and institutional power.

Through thought-provoking discussions, research presentations, networking, and strategic collaboration, participants will explore opportunities to strengthen Ghanaian American leadership, build generational wealth, shape public policy, and deepen connections between the United States and Ghana.

2026 Program Highlights

  • State of Ghanaian America: Be among the first to hear preliminary findings from GHPAC's groundbreaking research initiative examining the Ghanaian American community's demographic, economic, and civic footprint.

  • Business, Wealth & Investment: Explore real estate, entrepreneurship, wealth creation, trade, and investment opportunities connecting the United States and Ghana.

  • Leadership, Policy & Civic Engagement: Connect with elected officials, policy experts, and community leaders working to strengthen diaspora representation and influence.
