Description:
Keeping The Culture:
Digitizing Your Family’s History, monthly archiving session
(RSVP to attend) Free public programming

Derrick Adams - Founder
Kameron Robinson - UX Design and Engineering, Technical Lead

Black Baltimore Digital Database monthly digitizing sessions will have various themes centered around assisting Baltimore’s Black citizens on how to archive their own history - for themselves first and foremost - generating a vault of historical content owned exclusively by individual participants; For us, by us.

We have created a digital archiving platform that will make it easy for multigenerational citizens to access and execute uploading valued materials they can choose to share with other family members or the general population. In an effort to emphasize the importance of individuals being able to secure their data without the involvement of traditional institutions, this unique software design incorporates category structures, profiles, tags and other tools to make it easy to upload, search and recover personal data. In order to start your journey into your family’s BBDD account, you must attend an intro session at our CharmCCC headquarters.

The Last Resort Artist Retreat, Black Baltimore Digital Database and Zora’s Den are all core programs within Charm City Cultural Cultivation 501(c)(3) non profit organization based in Baltimore Maryland.
