JuneteenthFTW has provided an opportunity for young women between the ages of 15-18 who are pursuing education. We will be having a pageant that will take place on June 4th. This is a scholarship opportunity that will teach you more about Juneteenth, yourself, and much more.

The mission of the Miss Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant is to provide a forum for young women to enhance their self-esteem, explore self-expression and provide areas for personal development training. Our mission of excellence includes the following goals and objectives:

Self-Esteem Enhancement

1. Public speaking training

2. Poise training

3. Image consulting

4. Positive reinforcement

Self-Expression Development

1. Essay writing

2. Talent coaching

3. Public events participation

Personal Development Training 

1. Educational seminars

2. Career development opportunities

3. Opportunities for community service

4. Networking with other young women

Requirements

• Must be black or of African decent

• Between the age of 15-18 

• GPA of 3.5 or higher

• Identify as a natural-born women

• Available to compete at the national pageant in October 2022

• Personal interview 30%

• Onstage Question and answer 20%

• Evening gown 20%

• Talent 20%

• Scholarship essay 10%
