The MMG Foundation proudly presents a cultural showcase event on December 20, 2025, at the Gold Coast Restaurant & Cocktail Bar in Cantonments. This vibrant experience aims to bridge Africa and the Caribbean through food, art, and culture, creating a lively and authentic marketplace that celebrates heritage, unity, and innovation.
Purpose of Vendor Segmentation
The event’s vendor segmentation is designed to curate a balanced and engaging marketplace that reflects the deep connections between African and Caribbean communities. Each vendor category supports the event’s broader goals of cultural education, culinary exploration, diaspora connection, social enterprise promotion, and economic empowerment.
Vendor Categories
The marketplace will feature 21 vendor slots across multiple categories. These include African Heritage Food Vendorsshowcasing traditional dishes like Jollof, Kenkey & Fish, and Suya; Caribbean Culinary Vendors offering island favorites such as Jerk Chicken and Rice & Peas; and Fusion & Innovation Vendors blending Afro-Caribbean flavors creatively. Additional categories include Beverage & Dessert Vendors, Youth Entrepreneurs, and Cultural Crafts & Lifestyle Vendorspresenting art, jewelry, fashion, and real estate opportunities.
Vendor Benefits & Fees
Approved vendors will receive a tented booth, event signage, marketing inclusion, and access to facilities and networking opportunities. Participation fees range from GHS 550 for shared booths to GHS 1,700 for mobile units, while youth entrepreneurs (ages 15–21) enjoy sponsored participation courtesy of the MMG Foundation.
Application Details
Interested vendors must submit a completed application form, menu list (up to three dishes), food hygiene certification, photo samples, and brand materials. Applications should be emailed to info@mmgf.org or submitted via +233 543 726075 / 024 850 2378 by the deadline of November 14, 2025.
Selection Criteria
Vendors will be chosen based on their relevance to the theme “From Africa to the Caribbean,”culinary quality, hygiene standards, cultural authenticity, and creativity. Selected participants will also have the opportunity to join a tasting competition, showcasing their craft to a diverse audience.
