Dance Your Pain and Stress Away- In dedication to Domestic Violence Awareness Month

This event is in dedication to Domestic Violence Awareness Month. A lot of people we may know suffer from or have suffered from Domestic violence. This event is to bring awareness to this issue and give a sense of healing to those struggling at this moment. This event is free and open to the community. Come and enjoy a dance workout session with GarifunaRobics, live drumming, and a chance to release some pain and stress. 

GarifunaRobics was founded in April 2018 by Arnol Guity Martinez to promote Fitness and Wellness through Culture. Elements of the Garifuna Culture were implemented in a Full Body cardio workout. 

Sankofa Haus was founded in 2020 by Dj Spynfo- a well-known DJ and performer who has planted seeds in the community. Sankofa Haus brings you luxurious, up-scale vibes in the Urban areas of the Bronx.
