About the exhibition:

What defines everyday life in Baltimore? This exhibition answers through the people who call the city home: the youth, the artists, the community builders, and the lovers. From intimate portraits to scenes at neighborhood landmarks like the Rawlings Conservatory and community gardens, these works capture the rhythms of living, working, and playing in Charm City.

THE EVERYDAY: Scenes in Baltimore is an extension of The Everyday Archive open call for the inaugural print issue of Black Is Magazine, themed Legacy and Continuity in Black Photographic Practice. The exhibition extends this exploration of how Black photographers document and preserve the everyday moments that shape cultural memory and identity.
