Jazz Matters invites you to our ICON  Jazz Series on Sunday, February 15, 2026, as we pay tribute to some of the most iconic women in jazz: Angela Bofill, Natalie Cole, Rachelle Ferrell, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, and Nancy Wilson.

Held at Atlanta’s Plywood Place  located in a fantastic area of Atlanta's  Beltline in Southwest Atlanta's beloved West End community. Plywood Place, with its lush acoustics and intimate setting,  is becoming a beloved location in Atlanta’s jazz scene.

Experience an amazing evening with: Shakia Garrett, Cheryl Johnson, Yvette Moore, Etta Purcell, and Janice Williams, as they honor legendary women of jazz.

The event pays tribute to jazz legends new and old as another installment in YESJAZZMATTERS.ORG’s ongoing “ICON” concert series, which has honored the likes of George Duke and Grover Washington.
