About Tidewater African Cultural Alliance
The Tidewater African Cultural Alliance (TACA) was founded on November 1, 2017, on the belief that Africa and Africans are stronger together and united, than divided. Africans have a long history of patriotism within their respective countries, and we do not want that to change! We want that pride to unite us and help us make a difference within our community. We also want to honor and celebrate our connection to the vast African Diaspora, and bridge the gap.
A Community Partner in Education with the VA Beach City Public Schools system since 2019, we look forward to partnering with more schools in the 757, our local organizations, and businesses to: reach our community; serve our community; and enrich our community with African cultural arts and events!
