256 Production is owned and operated by Michael Long of Harvest, Al. He started his first show with his mentor, Lee Parker in 1995. He promoted his first Blues and R&B Concert at the North Alabama Fairground in Muscle Shoals, Al. From then on he promoted several concerts and other events, such as comedy explosions. Some of the acts that he has promoted throughout his career are Betty Wright, Lynn White, Tyrone Davis, Bobby Rush, Shirley Murdock, Glen Jones, Lenny Williams, Silk, H- Town. As well as comedians, Don "DC" Curry, Ricky Smiley, JB Smooth, Jamie Foxx, and Lavel Crawford. The W.C. Handy Organization gave him the opportunity to do the 1st Kickoff Extravaganza at the Alabama Music Hall Of Fame in the summer the of 2022. Mr. Long is thankful to all of the acts and artist for being given the opportunity to work with him.
